This is a lovely hotel in Japan Town San Francisco. My daughter and I had a wonderful time, and the view from the 10th floor was great.

We, most likely, will not stay at this hotel again. Toilet ran all night and it was very noisy.

Great location - shopping center on ground floor & parking garage in basement - all have direct access to the hotel elevator.

If you like unique experiences in ethnic neighborhoods, decent prices and good access to bus lines anywhere in the city, this place is it. If you want something traditional, perfect and yawn, well, I don't stay where you want to stay. ...read more

Hotel Kabuki was in the heart of Japan Town. It was fun to be able to go downstairs and be able to walk the streets safely whether or not it was day or night. The parking attendant told us about an underground parking lot that had access to several of the buildings, Hotel Kabuki being one of them. There was plenty of parking there and was a very short walk to the Kabuki building. The locals were very friendly and the shops were colorful and great. The hotel room was really nice and the deep Japanese soak tub was enjoyable. Took a little while to get help from the maintenance people the one time we needed them, but when they arrived, they were extremely helpful and nice. I'd definitely stay here again. They also have a really beautiful Japanese garden downstairs. ...read more

It's comfortable, clean, reasonable and convenient for anyone who wants to be in the Japan town area, and accessible to loads of restaurants, mostly Japanese.

The hotel stands next to the Japantown Peace Plaza, and we found the hotel itself to be very peaceful and relaxing. The beds were luxurious, the Japanese shower/tub ritual was relaxing, and the complementary visit to the Kubuki Spa was delightful. The neighborhood is quiet yet accessible to so much of San Francisco. Parking at $15 a day was reasonable, too! ...read more

I've stayed in many boutique hotels in SF, rooms are always very small. This hotel you could walk around comfortably and great bathtubs and nice linens.

I live in San Francisco, we went here for our anniversary. Overall a good experience, but attention to some details would have made it even better. We were given a key to the honor bar, but it was not stocked. Traditional Japanese tea was supposedly provided, but there were only 2 tea bags in our room, no selection. I was surprised at the high price of simple breakfast of pancakes and French toast with juice and tea- $54 is a bit steep if you ask me. All in all, I have to say though, nice atmosphere, wonderful restaurant, polite staff. ...read more
